A free knowledge platform built by a researcher, for real people.
120+ articles on finance, photography, technical writing, and corporate ethics โ written from experience, not theory. Plus a free Android app and a set of free financial calculators.
Founder, Sharan Initiatives
Hi, I'm Taresh โ a Research Scientist and AI engineer based in Bangalore. I hold a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from IIT (BHU) Varanasi. My work focuses on applying deep learning to medical imaging: helping machines learn to read X-rays, flag anomalies in scans, and support clinicians with AI-assisted diagnostics. I've spent years building these systems hands-on, not just reading about them.
I've written over 120 articles spanning four topics: Technical Writing, Personal Finance, Photography, and Corporate Ethics. Yes, that's an unusual mix โ but it's genuinely who I am. I shoot street photography on weekends, obsess over budget spreadsheets, and care about how workplaces actually treat people.
I built BudgetCycle โ a free Android finance app โ because the tools I wanted didn't exist. I also built a set of free financial calculators because I think the barrier to good financial decisions shouldn't be a paywall. Sharan Initiatives is the container for all of it: one place for everything I've learned, freely available, no subscriptions required.
